Friends and Buddies

In one's life, there are tons of passerby, ranging from Hi & Bye acquaintances to people who developed a close bond towards each other. However, one thing that I always believe, every paddle thrown into the pond to create a ripple, it basically increase the level a little higher. So life is about learning and to be learnt. People come and go, foe or partners, you still grow from them.

From a user of long time Friendster to nowadays Facebook, I realize a fact, people are not as unfriendly they looked. It is so sweet to receive a smile from a stranger or a nice morning from people whom most people might classified as Mr/Ms Tau! It is a sweet gesture and after all, no men an island!

There are people who said that it was all due to how you look that draw the strangers to you. I do admit that appearance does play a part. People only cares about people who cares about themselves! As said, eyes is the window to the soul, thus appearance should be the passport to the soul… It might be shallow and superficial but well, it is true! Of course everyone got friends who are unfortunate looking but in the first place, to have something more than just a friend, usually you will think twice won’t you?

There was a strange phenomenon that in Facebook, there are stranger who added you in as their friend list but never did bother to drop an email or even to say hi. The only conclusion that I can draw from this is like going to an arts museum. People love to appreciate fine arts but not to study it in details! Well, at least it is a positive self motivating action that people do like the pictures that I post inside my facebook! LOL

Whatever it is, one thing that I like to say is that cherish every moment of your life and of course, everyone who crosses your path in some ways. Drop them a note every now and then to tell them that you do care and think of them. May it be an email or a sms, friends are meant to be kept, not to be forgotten.
